2005 Annual Meeting

Don’t forget the annual meeting coming up in Marshalltown on November 18th and 19th. The featured speakers will be Bob Cox and Allen Dick. Bob was State Apiarist until the budget ax fell a few years ago. He is currently employed at the Honeybee Research Center in Weslaco ,Texas. Allen was a commercial beekeeper in the Canadian province of Alberta. He ran up to 3500 hives until his retirement a couple of years ago. He is a very diverse individual with a multitude of interests. He is very computer literate and acts as the host for the IHP website. He also has his own website www.honeybeewold.com This site is a goldmine of information.

The IHP will be sending out a special mailing with the tentative schedule for the meeting. Something always changes at the last minute but we will let you know when the major events are going to occur so you will be able to plan your arrival.
