bees with queen picked up in Cedar Rapids or Aurora, Iowa
the first part of April. Bees from the Hill-Ward Apiary in
California. All orders must be received by Feb. 28. Contact

| FOR SALE: Package Bees—We will be
selling 2# and 3# packages again this year. Pricing won’t
be known until late January or early February. 3# packages
will only be available on the first load. This load normally
fills sometime in early March. The second load will only
have 2# pkgs.
The first load will be here the first week in April: the
second; a week to ten days later. Our loads have always
been on time but we didn’t get everything we ordered
on the first load last year. It all depends on the weather
conditions in California.

Home Spun Honey
1 1/2 Cup Honey
1 Cup Cream
1 lb. Butter, soft
1 tsp. Vanilla
Dash of salt
Bring to a boil on med. heat, honey & cream.
Add to the mixture vanilla & salt. In blender, mixer or food
processor add above mixture over softened butter & mix until
smooth. Pour into jars, cool & lid. Store in the refrigerator.
