Master Beekeeper Program Scholarship Offer

This year the IHP will be offering one $150 scholarship to the Master Beekeeper Program that is put on by Dr. Marion Ellis at the University of Nebraska Research Station at Mead. NE. Mead is located west of Omaha between Lincoln and Wahoo. The scholarship will cover the course fee and part of your expenses. Last year the fee for the course itself was $95. The course was held the latter part of June. We will post the dates in “The Buzz” as soon as we have them. Applicants need to have one year of beekeeping experience and be a member of the Iowa Honey Producers. This is a great course. I would encourage people to apply.
